Green Juice, as well as green smoothies, have become increasingly popular over the past decade due to their phenomenal health benefits. They are a great way to consume a large amount of fruits and vegetables for those who struggle to meet their daily recommended intake. Here are our favourite benefits of incorporating a green drink into your diet today:

Recipe 1) Bali Green Smoothie from Jacqui
Ingredients:
- Spinach, 1 handful
- Beetroot leaves, 1 handful
- Watermelon, 1/4 of a large watermelon
- Mixed Microgreens, 1 handful
Instructions:
- Blend the spinach and beetroot leaves together with water.
- Separate half of this into a glass on the side.
- Add the watermelon to the blender and blend, this can be substituted for pineapple if you prefer.
- Add the microgreens and blend!
- Finally, add the juice that you separated into another glass back into the blender and blend everything together. This will break everything down into a super smooth blend with no large chunks, and it is less taxing for the motor on your blender.

Recipe 2) Green Juice
Ingredients:
- Baby kale, 2 cups
- Baby spinach, 2 cups
- Cucumber, 1
- Celery stalks, 2
- Wheatgrass, 50g
- Lemon, 1
- Ginger, 1 inch
Instructions:
- Wash all of the vegetables and cut them into small pieces.
- Add all the ingredients to the juicer, 1 small handful at a time.
- Wait for your juicer to finish.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
Recipe 3) Simple Green Smoothie
Ingredients:
- Banana, 1
- Spinach, 1 cup
- Baby Kale, 1 cup
- Almond milk, 1 cup
- Honey, 1 tsp
Instructions:
- Add all the ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth.
- Pour into your favourite glass, sit back, and enjoy.
